What ages do you work with?
Middle school through college, plus adult learners preparing for the ASVAB, a certification or a return to school. Roughly ages 11 and up.
Do you work with students on the spectrum?
Yes. Sessions are one on one, so the pace, structure and format bend to the student rather than the other way around. In practice that often means predictable routines, clear step by step breakdowns, extra processing time, and explaining a concept more than one way until one of them lands. Tell us what works for your student and what does not, and we will build around it.
Do you really work with adults?
Yes, and it is a real part of what we do. Adults come to us for tech and coding classes, ASVAB and certification prep, college courses after time away, and practical digital skills. Sessions are one on one, so nothing is paced for a classroom of teenagers.
Are sessions online or in person?
Both, on separate calendars. Online runs on Google Meet with a shared whiteboard, weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, and is open to students anywhere. In person runs weekday daytime hours in the Riverview and greater Tampa area.
I booked a time. Am I confirmed?
Not until you hear from me. The calendar takes the request, but it does not always catch everything on my end, so I confirm every session by email. If a day goes by with nothing from me, text or email and I will sort it out.
What is Grade Resurrection?
It is for a student who already has a bad grade or a GPA that is slipping. We find where the class stopped making sense, rebuild that foundation, work the homework together, and restudy the older material so the next test goes differently. It is hands on, and we work it side by side.
How long is a session?
Both calendars book 60 minute sessions. Small groups and test prep intensives can run up to 90, and those are arranged by email.
Can you just help with tonight's homework?
We will always help with what is due. But homework is the symptom, so we spend part of every session on the underlying skill so next week is easier.
How much does it cost?
Rates depend on format, subject level and how often you meet. Email us with what you need and we will send the options before you book anything.
How far in advance should we book for a test?
For the ASVAB, SAT, ACT or a certification exam, six to eight weeks gives us room to build score gains. Shorter timelines still work, we just narrow the focus.
What if we need to reschedule?
Give us 24 hours notice and we will move the session at no charge.
Do parents get updates?
Yes, for students under 18. Short session notes go out after each meeting covering what we did, how it went and what to practice. Adult students get the same notes sent directly to them.
